Co-founder of MODE Andover, April Graffeo is a renowned expert in foiling techniques, extension work and upstyling. With a rich background in runway, editorial, and event styling, her work has graced prestigious fashion weeks and publications. Winner of multiple industry awards (including Best of Boston, BONS, and Salon Today Top 200), April was also the founder of the nationally-recognized INDRA Salon, and takes pride in having mentored many successful local salon owners. Additionally, she excels in special FX and human artistry makeup, bringing a unique flair to her BoomBoom Room events services company.

Michael Rafuse is a Master Stylist and owner of MODE Andover, known for thoughtful hair color, long-lasting haircutting, men’s cutting, and customized smoothing treatments. His approach to color combines color science and custom highlighting to create natural dimension and softer regrowth that wears beautifully between appointments. A men’s cutting expert, Michael approaches everything from longer styles to short, architectural cuts with an eye for structure, proportion, and how the hair will grow. A longtime brand ambassador, educator, and former beauty trends forecaster, Michael brings more than a decade of advanced education and experience to every guest, creating personalized hair designed to look great well beyond the day it’s done.
